THE PRELIMINARY THINGS FOR ALL SERVICES
Before we meet I’ll ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire for training and/ or Food and Lifestyle coaching to help me understand your needs.
In the initial consultation we will discuss your needs and goals, addressing any challenges and exploring solutions together.
Then we will jump onto the gym floor and I’ll assess your movement patterns to identify what we need to work on.
From there I will create your training program , complete with support videos, which you can access via Google Sheets.
For food and lifestyle I’ll send you a clear set of recommendations, practices, and tracking processes for the next six weeks.
During the time you are working with me you are free to contact me with any questions and/or exercise videos. I am available 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
PHYSICAL TRAINING SESSIONS
You can choose from the following session frequencies: 1-3 times a week, fortnightly, or monthly.
At the end of each training block (8-12 weeks) we’ll have a follow-up session. This is our chance to assess what’s working, what’s not, and co-create a plan for the next training phase.
I’ll create a new training program for you, complete with support videos for your solo sessions.
Food and Lifestyle coaching is included and optional for anyone who is doing ongoing Physical Training.
PROGRAM DESIGN
Every time you receive a program, we will meet for a program show through so you know exactly what and how to do the program.
We will have a 30 minute check-in call the week before you are due for your new program (between 8-12weeks)
Food and Lifestyle coaching can be added to this service.
FOOD AND LIFESTLYE COACHING
Option 1: One-off 60-Minute Food and Lifestyle Session.
Option 2: 6-Month Commitment
From the initial consultation we would have created Food and Lifestyle practices and ways to track your progress.
The weekly email check in is where you share reflections on your week and receive support, direction and resources based on your experiences and how your tracking metrics are going.

CONTACT IMPROVISATION WORKSHOP
This workshop is perfect to begin your learning of Contact Improvisation. It is a place to find your footing and experience this wonderful form.
What to expect
We begin by bringing our attention to our own bodies.
From here we learn our relationship to the ground. Folding and unfolding, rolling and finding different ways to come in and out of the floor.
Then we learn how to make contact and communicate with each other through ‘the rolling point of contact’
Through that contact point we learn how to give and receive weight.
Lastly we play with all the things we have learnt in the class in a container called a ‘jam’.
The we sit and share in a ‘harvest’ together, which is a sharing of your experiences in class and what you have learned about the form.
HISTORY OF CI and WHAT IS CI?
Contact Improvisation (CI) was initiated in 1972 by choreographer Steve Paxton, exploring movement between two bodies in contact, shaped by gravity, momentum, and inertia.
CI has many definitions but here is one from Steve:
"Contact Improvisation is the exploration of physical contact between two people as a form of movement, where weight-sharing, falling, and lifting allow the dancers to respond to each other's movements in real time. The key is to not rely on a preconceived choreography but to stay present with the body’s impulses and the dynamic forces of gravity and momentum."
— From interviews and writings by Paxton in the 1970
